f.k.one productions was established in 1999 by Andrew Dougall and Iain Whittington, with the aim of providing high quality, professional corporate & occasion films at competitive rates. Soon into 2000, the demand for wedding films increased dramatically, as did corporate interest in audio-visual media. In May 2002, Iain decided to pursue other ventures, yet still staying in close contact with Andrew as consultant and advisor. Andrew takes a multi-disciplined approach to our projects, overseeing all assignments from conception through to final delivery. With 11 years of production knowledge to draw upon, he graduated from Edinburghs Telford College and went on to gain extensive experience in the film and television industries, before establishing his own company. In November 2006 we moved into our new offices in the centre of Falkirk and in October 2007 were joined by our new Production Manager, Craig Nicol. Craig, who studied communications at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, joined us from Gutsy Films in London. He spent several years at one of Scotlands most successful marketing agencies before venturing into the television and corporate film industries. Having worked on award winning short films and with big named production companies such as IWC Media, Craig has fulfilled various rolls such as researcher, camera operator and production co-ordinator. Over the last 9 years, f.k.one productions has established a reputation for quality, innovative and appealing films and has stamped their name as one of the leading production companies in Central Scotland.
